Hi all,

I was always wondering what the 'points' on the 'stamps' were for, located
on instructions of models from 1992 to 1993.  Don't know what I'm talking
about?  Have a look at these two examples

from 1992: http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/6000/6346/ (page 12)
from 1993: http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/6000/6345/ (page 20)

Instructions from 1994 to 1997 had the 'stamp' but no 'points' examples are:

from 1994: http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/6000/6340/ (page 20)
from 1995: http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/6000/6516/ (page 2)
from 1996: http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/6000/6517/ (page 2)
from 1997: http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/6000/6556/ (page 12)

If anyone can tell me the purpose of these I would greatly appreciate it

Please FUT to wherever you feel appropriate

Build well

John Porter

p.s. Please not that NOT ALL instructions in the time periods mentioned had
the items which I am querying about

Well here in the USA, there was a thing, if you collected enough points you could get sets free. I only managed yo get 2 free sets. Its was only specific sets also. Josh (23 years ago, 21-Apr-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.town)
