I believe the logo used by lunet was created by M.C. Escher a Dutch graphic artist, most recognized for spatial illusions,impossible buildings, repeating geometric patterns (tessellations), and his incredible techniques in woodcutting and (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) It is indeed an original creation by Todd & Suz. However, it is base on the Penrose Triangle developed by Sir Roger Penrose. Escher's work, specifically Waterfall, was base on the Penrose Triangle as well. You can read more about him here: (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
