Hi David! This is the info that Ben Whytcross obtained a couple of weeks
ago:
For my good news of the week...I have CONFIRMED information about the
release of this set...It is an exclusive for one of the smaller chain
stores
that specialise in toys, and will be released either late next month or
early in December. The release will be heralded by a catalogue from this
store, and will be advertising the set as being in the $115-130 AUS
range.
If this is correct, then we will all be better off to buy locally since S@H
is $191.95 plus shipping.
Ben, does this "smaller chain store" operate nationwide or only in certain
areas? Or to be precise, does it have a Brisbane store?

| (...) Yep, there are stores in/around Brisbane. For some further info, the set is exclusive to this chain in Aus [like the other boat in k-mart]. I BELIEVE orders were taken in Melbourne during the toy fair [march] and it is scheduled to go into a (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
