reorganisation of .au, my thoughts —Jonathan Wilson
here are the subgroups of lugnet.au or lugnet.loc.au that I think are needed: .au for general discussion, MOC postings etc .au.shopping for posting info on sales etc (or they could go in .au) .au.market for posting wanted to buy, wanted to sell, etc (...)         Re: reorganisation of .au, my thoughts —Kerry Raymond
(...) Sounds fine to me. Certainly we have a awful lot of .loc.au.etc.etc groups that never see any genuine traffic, e.g. .loc.au.qld.mis (Mt Isa). I'm not saying we never will need such groups but at the moment they seem a bit superfluous. Kerry (23 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: reorganisation of .au, my thoughts —Ross Crawford
(...) I think that's fine, though I think we could probably start without .shopping & see how it goes. I don't think there's too much of it at the moment for .au. Regards ROSCO (23 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) I agree; .au, .au.market, and .au.org. If there's a demand for .au.org subgroups, let them grow. Archive the .loc sub-groups (can still be read, but no new posts). --DaveL (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
