| Are the newsgroups on the Web site updating or is it just the stupid network connection I have here? The only way I can post from here at the moment is via the Web interface, so when it doesn't update it is very hard to post replies. Martin (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

| (...) I always use the web interface and pressing the refresh/reload button for lugnet is now second nature, that's just the way it is! Also, sometimes it takes a couple of minutes for a new post to show, even if you are reloading. Deidre (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

| (...) I use it quite often as well, mostly when making new posts or when at work. I have refreshed until I am blue in the face, cleaned out the cached files etc. and it still shows the same thing after about 15 minutes. I guess I am stuck behind (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

| (...) Doing a reload will force the proxy to fetch the page afresh (although I must say that poxy is quite a good description some of the time :)). It has been quite quiet for longish periods this afternoon, there was a burst of activity around 45 (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
