Dare I wonder about the availability of System 9v Level Crossings in Australia?
Would I be right in thinking obtaining one of these would have to be via the
2nd hand or hoarder-of-MISB markets?  Just seeking info at the moment, I've
spent far too much on Lego lately!

As far as Sydney goes...they aren't available at retail, unless they are

At the beginning of 2000, there were two in W4K, I bought one on the off-chance

And on a related note, will the grey roadplate level crossing fit with the
green roadplates?  I seem to recall someone saying the grey roadplates were
slightly different but I can't remember what it was about them.

Those extreme low-slope ramps are available in other colours. I even saw a
pink level crossing somewhere on Lugnet. The white ones from the Soccer sets

Lab, though the only source of them is overseas.
