I always thought this would be a reason for a mysterious re-appearance.

Everyone knows purchasing on credit is always easier.

Chain stores usually do two months, independents would be more flexible due
to the higher retail prices.

| (...) Big W = 10 weeks lay-by, default if no payment within 14 days (a bit longer in practice) of last payment. Although the christmas conditions may be a little different. But it's safe to assume that there is no unclaimed stock sitting aroundout (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
