Which, generally means that whatever US-ers say is what the rest of the
world has to settle for. Unfortunately, most things from the US that are
supposed to be 'international and world-wide' tend to be based on what would
best suit the US. Maybe this is because of the size of the population there,
or due to the way US-ers are generally more out-spoken than people from
other countries, but it all seems to end up favoring the US, whether through
concious or unconcious decisions. Unfortunately, even having the council
wouldn't have altered this, as unless there are at least an equal number of
US, and non US members [preferably equal numbers of members from each
country] then it will turn even more US-ish :(
