I've recently come across the following unopened sets in a toy shop. The boxes have a varying degree of shelfwear, but I believe the seals are still intact. The sets are: 6493 time cruisers boat $87.42 [2 copies] 8456 Fibreoptic set $100.58 8855 (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Hi Paul, If the shop was down the road from me, I wouldn't be waiting for a discount on this one. Prior to seeing this message, I asked Ben to get it for me. I'd say $100 AUD to get one of those black props and all the other pieces was steal unless (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

(...) Just a note recommending the 8280 -- I bought this set a few months ago, and I really enjoyed building the model.
