I knew a guy who was a lego rep in New York. He'd visit all stores, including
TRU, inventory, order replenishment, and stock new sets.This was years ago
before I rekindled my interest in them so I didn't learn as much about it as I
could have. But it shows that even in a major metropolitan market with gigantic
chain stores, the rep is still the one responsible for ordering. How they plan
and arrange for window displays or big instore displays I don't

| After a brief chat to the guy who runs the toy section at David Jones Robina (gold coast) I pressed him for some info on the Lego Reps. Apparently the reps do decide what goes on the shelf. what was more interesting to me was the fact that DJ Robina (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)
