In lugnet.loc.au, Jamie Obrien writes:
Really, i'd prefer Thomas the Tank Engine sets myself! Love the shorts
of it on the ABC!!! Thomas Rules.
<should i be admitting this!>

Now, that _would_ be great!  (BTW There is a thread in lugnet.trains with
a web link or two to Thomas creations in Lego).  There are, however,
a plethora of Thomas brands already and they'd all be much much
cheaper than anything Lego would produce.

This would probably go the way of the Winnie the Pooh Duplo,
great idea but the market is saturated.  Leastways, there is still
tonnes of Pooh Duplo everywhere down here and it doesn't seem to sell,
whereas the non-Lego stuff is very popular.

FWIW I love Eeyore and friends and actually bought the Duplo and was
very disappointed in the animal figures, Lego can do much better - so
why didn't they?!
