Well, one good place to try is EBAY, if you don't mind paying large
prices...Otherwise, I'd suggest you keep an eye on the .market.bst pages,
and make offers on items if they come up for sale. You're not likely to see
many of the older castle sets in stores now, so that's probably the only way
you'll find these sets.
If you're interested, I've got a small list of castle sets for sale that I
could e-mail you. [But unfortunately, there's no castles there.]
Probably the best things to look for are those sets that you personally like
when starting out to build a collection. When I started, I bought whatever
sets I could afford, and although I've got a reasonable collection, there's
a few sets that I wish I'd stopped myself from buying so I could have gotten
bigger/better sets [Quality rather than Quantity]. This is one reason my
collection isn't growing as fast as it once did. [Another reason has been
that I'm after parts at the moment to complete some sets, instead of buying
new sets....Oh yes, and my NLSO trying [successfully] to cap my lego budget
:( ]
