This is the sixth consecutive year we will have a display at the Train Show.
The layout is a modular system made up 7 individual modules belonging to each
member. Overall the layout will be over 12m long and 2 m wide, everything is
made of Lego, apart from the tables themselves. The organisers are billing us as
the biggest Lego Train Display in Australia. There will be 4 running tracks and
a monorail operating at all times. Double heading loco's will be common, some
very loooong goods train and high speed passenger trains. We will also be
showing off some QR Locos, models that are currently running on QR tracks. One
new highlights on this years layout will be Harrison Heights, a burp mountain
with tunnels and its own railway. There will be some Lego sales of Lego train
items that are hard to find as well, all at reasonable prices.
Gates open 9am to 5 pm Sat, Sun, Mon and entrance costs are $10 adult, $5 child,
$8 concession. If you able attend then make sure you drop in and have a chat
with us, were always looking for potential new members. We'll even let you take
charge of the trains and sit in fat controllers seat if you really want to get
hooked. Spread the word. Guaranteed hours of fun, see you there!
