Ok,
the last meetup I tried to pull together didn't happen. If I can get more than
one person it would be great, so I'm spamming this across a couple of different
Lego forums (Nicjasno, Classic-Space)
Anyway, I'm trying to pull together a meetup of lego fans in general, those who
are interested in technic, bricks, whatever, because the lego community here in
adelaide is completely NON EXISTENT!
If you want to get together with other like minded people, give me a shout on
mjjeffer [at] hotmail * com (if you use MSN), or if you use regular email,
shoutout on mjjeffer [at] gmail * com.
Or just reply in this thread.
Ok, time and date, location, etc.
Date: Sunday, 28 January 2007
Time: Start 1pm, finish when people start getting bored.
Location: My house, we don't really have much but the lounge room is huge, and
we can arrange for food from some of the many food places nearby (chinese,
pizza, subway, Hungries, etc etc)
There is no theme, just bring your models and we can show off - I will have my
camera so if you want photos taken, I can do it and give them to you right
there, fully processed.
Gaming is available if you bring the kids or whatever, I have a Wii and several
other consoles, but this is mainly a Lego meetup.
Bring your models and we can have fun, maybe even organise a buy and split if I
head down to Kmart or Myers and people are willing to pitch in a little.
Cost: Free, unless we want food, at which point we'll work out pricing and what
people want etc.
Ok, I hope to see a few responses at least... I know there's still some life in
adelaide, hopefully.
Cheers,
Matthew
