“What does this have to do with LEGO?” I hear you ask. Well, one of the exhibits will be my Harbour Bridge model. “But wait!” I hear you say, “Didn’t you dismantle that some time ago?”. Well yes, I did, but I had the foresight to document it in Ldraw first. So it will be rebuilt on-site, before your very eyes, during the 2 weeks 14 to 27 January 2007. So if you’re in the area, feel free to drop in and say hello. You might even enjoy the rest of the exhibition!

Great news, Ross - Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing.

I’m looking forward to seeing you building bridges between AFOLs and the broader community by building a bridge. It’s an activity close to my heart.

And when folks are visiting Ross and the SHB exhibition, don’t forget to check out the models of the First Fleet, they are way vool... who knows, you might visit to see the Harbour Bridge, and go home planning a square rigger to sail underneath it!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I’m hoping it will go smoothly, TLC is supplying all the bricks, and it will remain their property after the exhibition. For a bit of added realism, I will be building portions of both headlands as well, so it should end up looking pretty good.

WRT a square rigger - it may have to me a fairly small one, the max clearance is about 40 bricks IIRC.
