On the National Geographic Channel tonight, the program 'Bug Attack' had a
segment on the Sydney Funnel Web spider. The victim interviewed had been playing
with 'legos' as a child, not noticing the male spider lurking amongst the
bricks. He did recover from the bite.
So if you live on/in the North Shore LEGO/Funnel Web belt...be warned.
For those with Foxtel/Austar, there is a repeat of the program at 12.30 tonight
and midday tomorrow. The program also features a segment on female bed bugs
without genitalia and a skin mite without an anus. Intelligent design...ha !
Direct any complaints about the use of the term 'legos' to Nat Geo.
