Was out shopping the other day and found a game called, Pirates of the Spanish
Main. See

It's a neat little game, uses punched cards to make ships, has all sorts of
collectable stuff and so on. Anyhow the rules are nice and simple. Easy enough
to get into quick but with just enough detail to present a challenge.
Within 2 minutes of reading the rules I was thinking, This'd be great (and
easy!) to play with Lego ships. (and islands, and forts and...).
Of course, one would need a space about 8foot square (blue for preference) but
that's easy enough.
Who's up for a little Piracy on the Spanish Main next meet?

James (who is already practicing his Avast me hearty!)

I have a ton of these ships for POTSM... its fun... however you would have to
build ships certain sizes and stuff and fire from the masts to do it using
lego... plus you would have to find a stardard firing distance and so on.... I
think evil stevies rules are vastly superior anyway... It makes for a much
better game. Plus, Steve Jackson puts out way better quality games then
Wizkids... but thats just my opinion. In fact, i believe that wizkids might have
had a good look at his game before desinging their card game... anyway if you
could find a good conversion rate it would make for a very fast paced lego war
game... and in this day and age of ADHD, that may be better. lol.
