Three weeks to go.

This is the list of events for the Sunday meet at Hornsby.

Build.
There will be two building competitions.
The first is a "Bring a MOC" sort. The theme is
       EXTREME AUSTRALIA
Australia, the land of floods, fires and droughts (sometimes all in one day)
is an extreme place. Bring a creation fitting (however loosly) into the theme.
Three catagories. 1. Minifig Vehicle.
                  2. Scene (limited to a 32x32 baseplate)
                  3. Open (model not fitting into above)
There will be a prize for each catagory and one overall prize.

The second competion is a "time limited creative build".
4 Contestants will each be provided with a (particular) set and a common
word. The best entrant from each round will progress to the final. Entry on
the day (and no, I'm not saying what set will be used, nor what the words
will be)

Trade.
There will be trading. See Paul's thread for want lists (please post your
own if you want something yourself)

Play.

There will be a train layout. If someone would like to volunteer to keep an
eye on the setup and running that'd be appreciated.

   Brickwars!
[flubber/] Rumours continue today that WestStar-Nova Shipping's flagship
fast courier "Peregrin" has been lost en-route to New Pacfic sector
Hornbyinn. Increase activity on Mercenary bulletin boards and govenment base
staging areas has been noticed, although Bricktorian and Queensbrickian
govts deny planning to loot the wreckage. The interest has been generated by
unconfirmed reports of illicit cargoes carried by the Peregrin for the New
Brick Wales govt. Suggetions range from a new superweapon to actual live
JawJaws. Needless to say there are many groups out there willing to risk a
quick raid to acquire such items. [/flubber]

If playing please email (not reply here!) with your force's name,
commander's name and governmental/business allegiances. Please bring some
rocky/crashsite type scenery too!

Any questions, reply or email!

James (who should build some scenery himself).
