Got a postcard today from LL telling about the next event they are having.
This one actually looks cool...
"Spend a day at the park with celebrities and favorite NFL players from past
and present. Take part in building a huge replica of the Vince Lombardi
trophy out of LEGO bricks. Enjoy a live concert by Jessica Simpson and pick
up a free Family Huddle collector LEGO brick. All this and more are
available to park guests on Thursday, January 23rd."
Looks good - a building event and a new promo brick. I wonder if this will
be another Duplo brick or a system brick (like the fabrik brick). But this
leads me to one question:
WHY MUST LEGOLAND DO THESE THINGS ON A THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This makes no sense at all. The last event they had (The Postal Service
thing) was on a Thursday also. For a park that aims towards kids you would
really think they would have these things on a weekend. This new thing of
having things on Thursdays is just silly considering their target audience
will be (should be) in school.
