Rudolph Lights the Night With Fireworks; The Holiday Block Party Glows

CARLSBAD, Calif., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The sights and sounds of yuletide
merriment create magical holiday moments for guests at LEGOLAND® California,
Dec. 19 to Dec. 31. LEGOLAND California's 4th annual Holiday Block Party
celebration transforms the 128-acre family theme park into a holiday
wonderland complete with nightly fireworks shows, daily visits with Santa,
ornament building with LEGO® Master Model Builders and some of the best toy
shopping in the country.

In addition to the more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, children's
faces will light up during the nighttime fireworks spectacular over the
park's popular Miniland USA attraction. The entire theme park will be
decked with vibrant decorations and filled with jolly sounds of the season.
Eager hands of all sizes will have the chance to work with park Master Model
Builders to create LEGO holiday ornaments to hang on the park's holiday
trees or purchase to take home.
Holiday shopping for LEGO toys has never been easier or more fun. The theme
park's Big Shop is the largest LEGO retail store in the nation boasting more
than 8,000-square-feet of the hottest LEGO toys and merchandise. LEGOLAND
California Year Pass Members receive a 20 percent discount on all store
merchandise during the holidays, including LEGO toys.
After opening the park each morning at 10 a.m., Santa Claus will take his
post in his sleigh to hear the holiday wishes of young guests from Dec. 19
through Dec. 24. Children of all ages can have their picture taken with
Santa daily.
LEGOLAND California is located at the Cannon Road exit off I-5 in Carlsbad
just 30 minutes north of San Diego and 60 minutes south of Anaheim. Prices
are $39.95 for adults, $33.95 for children 3 through 16 and seniors 60+.
Park hours for the Holiday Block Party vary.
