Hi everyone,

I had the chance this weekend to experience Legoland Denmark, 3 weeks before
opening day.

It was weird to see so many white plastic-coated buildings, rivers and lakes -
drained, and figures missing limbs and heads.  Some areas were a little
post-nuclear with cement grey being the dominant colour.

There were some guided tours and talks.  For example, we were introduced to the
team building Billund Airport that will replace the previous Munich Airport, a
resident feature for 8 years I think they said.  The new Billund Airport lies
parallel to the actual airport so that should be interesting.  A tour around the
pirates attraction was probably most interesting as we were shown all the
electronics, sound and lighting equipment and a lot of train and vehicle chassis
- extremely expensive - between £3000 - £5000 a piece.

Anyway, have a look at the pictures

Chris
