I was just browsing though the news.lugnet.com/general section, and came
across the complaints about lego direct and retailers. I may not be the
first one to bring up this issue, but feedback would be nice.
I was thinking, could LEGO bring out some of the s@h sets in stores- at the
moment, I have seen sets that my parents would buy, but they absolutely
refuse to pay exorbitant shipping costs and buy things online- Some examples
of great models that the community would like to see (After a poll of the
neighbourhood and Adelaide region) is:
Rebel Blockade Runner,
8461 Williams F1 racer,
Darth maul bust,
Naboo Fighter Master Builders edition,
Most of the train sets,
"Legends" series,
8448 Super Car Mk II
And most of all, rerelease series!
All of these have been suggested, and would be welcomed in Australian Toys
'R' Us stores, at least. (Like I said, I only reasearched the Adelaide
AFOL's and just plain FOL's...)
It's just that $50 seems to be a teensy weensy bit much for a already
expensive $200 model!!!!
Feedback welcome.
