What is the Status of Bionicle?

I dont know where else to turn for this information other then to turn to
the top.
As some may know, there is an AP report that many or even all of the
Bionicle line's production and distibution will be stopped as a result of a
dispute between the speakers of Maori and the Lego company.
So, my question is; what is the status of Bionicle?
-Are only parts of the Bionicle theme being stopped, or is it scrapped in
its entirity?
-Is there any truth to the AP article at all, or is it just an over excited
laywer for maori blabbering on?
I apprecieate any response you can give, whether publically here or
privately via my email
