Hi all {Lego Direct Question is at the End {1}}
I managed to get hold of a Viking Line Ferry Kit, No: 1924.
It a lovely big boat, 40 studs long and 8 2/3 studs high, see it here

Since it has no name, it has a sticker of the ship name on the boat which is
Isabella
So its 1924 - Isabella - Viking Line "Promo"
Made and copyright in 1992 and "Specially made for Viking Line"
Interested thought that this kit uses the same number as the 1924 Red
Motorbike Kit - Again a Promo for the Technic Line.
Has this ever happened before where 2 Promo kits use the same number?
Now this number/kit is not on Lugnet or on Brickset at preset ( Huw knows
about this now) But how do i inform the database administrators of this new
kit on Lugnet,
I am also looking to upload a scan of the manual to brickshelf, but how?
Question
{1} - Why can't LEGO give Lugnet a list of all of the Lego Kits that are
ever made? I mean this boat is 9 years old, and i can't believe its not in
the listings, even though its a promo kit?

| (...) By posting to lugnet.admin.database (I've xposted this there). (...) Lugnet is missing many promo sets. Brickset is by far the better reference for promos. I guess it just isn't a priority of the data base managers, combined with folks not (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.admin.database)

| Hi again I just made another discovery this boat 1924 is identical to the boat from Color Line Ferry - kit 1955 (URL) only difference is the stickers for the name and the bottom is blue on this, red on mine? Wow.. Has this happened before? -- (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.promo)
