  We are ready.

Ok, so it's 2002. We're ready, so go ahead any time and let us download the software you mentioned here: (URL) get started working on our creations so that there's no lag time in orders when you announce the service. Even if you don't plan to start (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct) !!

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

(...) Yeah, this stuff is long overdue. I guess no 'opportunity' (like the sand red) has arisen at the manufacturing plant(s). I was pleased with the center stud tiles last year, but really expected them to release more items with them. (I think the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

Here here! Good ole 2x4 bricks in blue would be nice! And what about 2x6 bricks - none! Of course, I need yellow but I'd take pink or teal if I had to! JB (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Will we ever see more bulk bricks?

Come on guys. It will be two years soon And STILL no real increase in the diversity of bulk bricks. OK, we have had a couple of new shades of standard bricks (that no one really asked for) But the stuff people keep repeatedly asking for never gets (...)   10018 & 10019 packed same as other UCS sets? (was:Packaging Style)

The subject tells all. I ask this in light of 10018 and 19 being sent to stores. (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Packaging Style (was:You get to choose!)

(...) The UCS sets are a rotten example. Whoever designed the UCS Tie and X-Wing boxes should be strangled, hanged, and SHOT. Those are the flimsiest, most useless boxes I've seen out of Lego. They are double the size they need to be (and at half (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

All, Just a quick note to share yet more good news! As of today, the 10024 Red Baron set has arrived and Shop At Home is taking pre-orders! Check it out now: (URL) like it will start shipping 15 May!   Re: Packaging Style (was:You get to choose!)

(...) USC? I don't think I'm up on my acronyms. It's not the cardboard itself that I mind, but the fact that the box can't be re-closed to contain the pieces inside. (...) Well, LEGO started it with the whole "Use this box for storage" deal on the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: You get to choose! -> IBERIA?

(...) Oh thank you a lot. I am very sorry because of I have not the vocabulary to say what I feel; happy, in one word. Probably, my first set will be Sopwith Camel, wonderful sculpture. My wallet and my girlfriend are not as happy as I am :-D One (...) (22 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Greed?

(...) My guess is that LD was waiting to see how well the first one did before committing to doing any more. I'm sure there is a large lead-time for new sets like this, and since it was kept secret until its release, we have no way of knowing how (...)   Re: You get to choose!

(...) Since everybody else has, I'll give my opinion: I think this is great. We now have a chance to get great sets with highly inflated prices currently. I do not care if the castle or space helmet is slightly different; I do not think it matters. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

OBRIGADO! :-) (Thank you very, very much!) This is a great day for us - shame I did not see this earlier... :-/ Anyway, thank you LEGO. It is nice to see you value our needs.   RE: You get to choose! -> IBERIA?

YES!!!!! =D I was feeling a bit frustrated, when I voted for the LEGO Legend and not beeing able to use Shop At Home online to buy the released set (if/when my elected set wins the Legend status). Now I'm happy :) THANKS! mc. PS: The only "part of (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Greed?

(...) Actually, Ben, I think you mean me -- I used the word first. There are two Richards underfoot at this point -- the best way to tell the difference between us is that the other Richard is younger and better looking than I am. =oP -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.off-topic.debate)
