Got my order - two warnings!!!

I am still happy as heck about bulk ordering. However, I must warn you about two misrepresentations of the elements as shown on the Bulk Ordering Selection graphics. 1. Train windows - are clear NOT light blue tint as shown. 2. 1x4x6 Red doors have (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct) !

Re: Got my order ... uh oh!

Jeff Elliott wrote in message ... (...) the (...) flat on (...) :) I think this is a good feature from my perspective also. I have a small container of black 2x2 low slope peaks, but no 2x4s. Of course I have about the same TOTAL quantity of black (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: bulk ordering is here!

Hi Brad & guys, Im glad that its on his way. But I got one question. Why is LEGO Europe, an London spokesmen, telling me that we cant order extra parts anymore ? We are used to do so for many years. But we cant order from LEGO Direct. Hows that (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Back Ordered

(...) This is bad for you in the short term, but I'd say it sounds great overall: it means demand was even greater than Lego expected. Hopefully, that'll send them a message!   Back Ordered

Did anybody else have things back ordered? I got all my roof bricks, but my 1x4 grey bricks were all back ordered. Boo! -Marc (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: bulk ordering is here!

Hello Brad, thank you for your considerations of Japanese market. You are worried about disparity of costs, especially due to high sipping costs. However, this is an inevitable problem since Japan has no domestic production fasilities. If you can (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: bulk ordering is here!

(...) Hey the 7151 Sith Infiltrator is the GPSP (Grey Plate Service Pack), available cheaply in Brisbane. The 7161 has been half-price for ages at certain places (see loc.au), maybe call it the G/B-S/B-SP (grey/blue-slopes/br...ks-service pack). (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: bulk ordering is here!

Maybe it's because the grey parts pack a.k.a. 7161 Gungan Sub isn't being sold at discounted pricing yet? ;-) It does have an awful lot of grey and blue bricks in it, looks like more grey bricks than blue, though, from what I can see of the picture.   Re: bulk ordering is here!

(...) I have to agree that the pricing seems high. Even if you use a /stud costing, bulk doesn't offer a discount. The blue tub cost you less than a half cent/stud(I only buy them when they're on sale. :) ) The existing service packs cost (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)
