I uploaded a POV-Ray rendered image based on an LDraw model to the
theme gallery when the theme was "3D LEGO Models", and it was accepted
among the eight contestants. (On a side note, it was an ordinary
model which won, not a 3D model.)
I've also seen other computer generated images in the builder's
gallery, so I assume they are accepted.
