Sounds like a dang fine team! Knowing quite a few of these folks personally, I
have nothing but high praise for the Ambassadors!
Just my .02 on each of the ambassadors (must...avoid...smack!..)
Akos, I dont know you, but youre in with a great bunch of people!
Admiral, all I can say is whoohoo!!!--youve been one of the primary
individuals in the resurrection of DixieLUG, and made PCS something awesome!
(not to mention those random comments on your site have folks rolling on the
floor)
Eric, dont know you, but have seen you post and seen youre work--great stuff!
|
Eric Brok - Netherlands
|
Eric B, dont know you, but Im sure that youll be just as great as everyone
else here...
Well, I cant say anything good about Felix..haha..no, Felix is a great builder,
great guy, and one heck of an MC! (not to mention, the only one with courage to
put a LEGO logo on his forehead and approach women..and keep them interested!)
|
Pierre Normandin - Canada
|
Pierre, have only met you once, but your presentation at Brickfest was one of
the most original talks--lets hope you stick with Lego and not defect to your
old employer (lol)...
Grand Admiral--for one who sounds so evil with the 3GA stuff, youre just the
opposite in person--your building talent is as good as your disposition and
demeanor!
(Jake, careful what happens when you get Giddens and Sandlin together..you never
know whatcha gonna wind up with..)

Holger Matthes - Germany
|
Homa..one word.. SCHLEIM! Having worked with you on that PDX ISD Build, and
having seen your work, I cant say enough good things...your enthusiasm for LEGO
transcends language barriers!
Huw, love all youve done with Brickset and everything else--youre a true
afficinado of LEGO!
JT, know ya too well--I cant say anything good, except as a founding member of
ILTCO, and did one of the first Festival of Trees events, and has dragged some
of the original Orlando sculptures all over the east coast, and has devoted much
of his time to the hobby (er.obsession?), as well as helped drag me out of the
Dark Ages, I cant say enough about ya.
Jon, dont know you, but somehow, I get the feeling I will eventually know ya..
BZ Power! Kick-butt webmaster! You gotta admire a guy who makes a Bionicle
train, and yet, still keeps to the Bionicle lore (powered by Krana, steered by a
kratta...that was funny!)
Paul--the monorail master, youre the one guy tasked to do the 48x66 layout
for the NMRA show where were gonna showcase a huge Lego train event...youve
helped put Ohio on the map for Lego events! Nothing but praise for ya!
Richard, dont know you, but know the name...make UK proud!
Todd, dont know you, but have seen your work--excellent stuff!
Congrats to all the Ambassadors!

| In the last few weeks, some 60 applications have submitted for the LEGO Ambassador Program. For a program that has only just started, and has no tangible benefits (at the time of announcement), that's beyond amazing. Thank you to every single person (...)
