In lugnet.lego, Terry Prosper wrote: <snip> (...) Terry doesn't speak for me. After reading the newsgroups here at LUGNET, and attending BF, as well as checking out other websites/venues regarding our chosen hobby, and partaking in many discussions (...) (...) Wow what a load! It hurt my head trying to figure out what you typed Terry. I had to read it twice to figure it out, once to get past the poor grammar and spelling, then again to try and put together what you were actually saying...after all (...)   Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

I very rarely post to these threads as they are not directly building related, but.... Not really going to spend time refuting Terry's opinion. It's is own and despite whether I agree or disagree with it, I doubt we'll change either other's take by (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) snip (...) I know that you don't want to hear that it wasn't Jake's fault... but that wasn't Jake's fault. He was just as blindsided by the color change as the rest of us, and so were most of TLC's employees. Some of them still don't know (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) Who the heck are you to be giving Jake "chances to redeem himself"? You've got a lot of brass, I'd say, to be coming off the way you do. (...) I'll give you this part. (...) Adult? I have my doubts. Especially when you put up an entire post (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

Hello! (...) Well, I can only speak for myself. The year is eleven months old and I can count on two hands how many new sets I have bought. No multiple copies of one and the same set, either. What I bought, however, are old-grey and old-brown parts (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) Yea! More new colours! More shades of pinkish violet-green, 'cause the kids love them! This list, however universal it is deemed now, still has some drawbacks. The main problem I see is with these ugly new greys, which are on the list, and (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) The colour we usually call "tan" ist "Brick Yellow", Lego colour No. 5. I ordered some pieces once, and we had some difficulties matching the colours from Lego Speech to The Real World, but we managed by examining some sets, the lady from the (...)   Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) Terry, until you said that, I was saying to myself "Well he's entitled to his opinion". But to say Jake is not a real AFOL is laughable. Just search through his Lugnet messages - you'll find many posted before he even joined LEGO, on so many (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)
