(...) Add Czech Republic to the list. I wrote a small script to recompute the czech MSRP (price / 1.19 / 27 ) = 19% is the tax, 27 Kc per 1 US dollar. Yup, the UK's pretty bad too - VAT at 17.5% on most goods (included in the price though), the fuel tax is incredibly high (about 86%) plus you have to pay road tax just to have your vehicle on the road.
