Re: Addressing concerns about Outsourcing LEGO Production

(...) I believe the code of conduct is available on the web somewhere. I seem to remember a link being posted on Lugnet ages ago too (although how much ages I couldn't say). Tim (20 years ago, 20-Jun-06, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Addressing concerns about Outsourcing LEGO Production

(...) Thanks for the statement Steve. I heard that TLG has a policy of re-training employees that are going to be laid off, is that happening in this situation? The idea being that they can get a better job that the one they lost. Also, can you give (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jun-06, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Two more Factory model... hoppers

(...) OK, it looks like this issue has been fixed. I tried to email LEGO about this, had to go through the web forms, then got an email back telling me I had to basically go through exactly the same web form process again, but start from the Factory (...)   Re: Two more Factory model... hoppers

(...) Black 1x1 plates! Would you believe it? The commonest cack I have kicking around at home, and LEGO Factory doesn't have any! If you build them into any model, it comes up as 'not available'. It's maddening trying to build something where you (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  LDD Train parts are 9V...

Using my contacts within the LEGO Factory team I have been able to determine that all train parts (Motor and Track) are from the 9V system not the new IR system. I am currently working to determine why there is such a large price differance between (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Bramballs

(...) Can you plug the LDD palette into your software and see how much globes of various diameters or in various color schemes would cost from Lego Factory? --Bram (20 years ago, 12-May-06, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Bramballs

(...) roughly $500 in bricklink prices for a mixture of green and blue. -dw (20 years ago, 12-May-06, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Bramballs

(...) LOL, thanks, I did. (...) Now how about go for broke and do a 48 wide... curious, how high the price will jump! Wink. Very cool Bram... I really enjoyed watching your balls explode.   Bramballs

Enjoy! (5 URLs) It's fun to just hit the explode button in LDD and see these come apart/together. --Bram (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory Updated - disclaimer needs updating

(...) To clarify, I'm referring to the download screen (URL) (same for mac version) not the info screen (URL) it says "The total download will be 9 MB.", on the PC download version, but it's actually 16.5MB. ROSCO (20 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LEGO Factory Updated - disclaimer needs updating

(...) On the ldd 1.6 download screen, the disclaimer still refers to v1.5. ROSCO (20 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  LEGO Factory Updated

(URL) As mentioned last month, LEGO Factory has just now been updated with quite a few improvements - including individual part pricing rather than by-the-bag pricing among several other things. There's a new LDD (v1.6) released, which also runs on (...) (20 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce, FTX) !!

Re: LEGO Factory fulfillment is MAY 8 (was: LF Individual Parts Fulfillment)

(...) Thanks for the clarification, Kelly. I thought it was odd that we weren't hearing any response from LEGO {Steve Witt}, and now I realize that their post might not have been to .lego, where I would have expected it.. Regardless, I'm now looking (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Brief summary: don't worry, unless it's blatantly for your profit I'm unlikely to kick up any fuss ;) Long answer: I have no problem with (...)   Re: LEGO Factory individual parts fulfillment

(...) [snip] (...) This is a good question. I imagine this would be sort of case-by-case. Is there an existing history yet? I personally don't think such posts would be received badly unless they were annoying and obviously in one's own (...) (20 years ago, 9-Apr-06, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.lego)

Re: LEGO Factory individual parts fulfillment

(...) Not an official opinion (obviously) but I think your rationale is generally right, but it depends a bit on context. If I made a new castle creation using LDD and made a post that had a links to the BShelf gallery and the LEGOFactory page to (...)   Re: LEGO Factory individual parts fulfillment

Can folks still use .announce.moc and a related theme (e.g. .space) or will they get flamed into having to post to something like (...)
