(...) I have thought about that a lot. The problem is that it increases the amount of time I have to moderate... meaning, what if someone submits an image that is 4mb? (...) as long as i'm not the only one on the list :) (...) how about hosting the thumbnails? each thumbnail should be in the range of 2.5kb, so even at 1000 instructions, you'd be under 5mb. (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.general)

So what would be interesting is a way that users could upload a text file or something that contains description data for the parts... something more "formalized" than a simple dump from MLCad, but not much more than that.
