Scott, In 2004, when they open up the three permanent downtown Detroit Casino's (MGM Grand, Circus Circus, etc) on the riverfront (800 million dollars each), there will probably be something like the "Caesar's World of Shops" (in Las Vegas). Tom, the MGM Grand (temporary) $250 million casino opened 3 weeks ago with the other 2 "temps" opening up in the next 2 months. Metro Detroit will be North America's largest gaming center (population wise) when it's all done. There are 5 million (...) (25 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
