I thought the 8448 Street Sensation was rather flimsy, but I an now
convinced that the 8880 is the fragile one. My five year old Nephew always
wants to play with the "big cars" at my house. At the end of each visit I
pick up a supply of plates and hinges and a occasional headlight from the
8880. So far, not one piece has fallen off the 8448 in spite of the numerous
cycling of the wing doors and the trunk. Hats off to the engineers, this is
a playable model.
