I remember my next door neighbor got Set 001 when I was a kid. That would make it 1966 or 1967 when Samsonite first sold these. I think the others came out later. Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Bill/Gary: (...) make (...) out (...) Were the series 001-004 released at the same time? I have a Samsonite catalog that came in a 021 Wheel set that listed gears as new (as in "Now Lego has gears") and had the other sets listed (002, 003 and 004). (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)
