  Question about LEGO minifigure trademark
 
In the footer of lego.com is this text: "LEGO, the LEGO logo, DUPLO, BIONICLE, MINDSTORMS, the BELVILLE, KNIGHTS' KINGDOM and EXO-FORCE logos, the Brick and Knob configurations and the Minifigure are trademarks of the LEGO Group." What do they mean (...) (13 years ago, 5-Apr-12, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

(...) I asked an attorney friend who studied intellectual property law to provide an answer to this. Her reply: "Trademarks are (basically) stylized words, graphics, or objects that create a mental association with good or service that is used in (...) (13 years ago, 6-Apr-12, to lugnet.lego)
