The concept is genius (of course!). Take my latest exoskeleton prototype and thread through it the scourge power of my nemesis’s anathema: kryptonite!
Now I’ll have the power to crush the ‘Man of Steel’ like tinfoil. The next effortless step will be to create a catastrophe of sufficient threat to induce the caped simpleton into an arena of death. . .

This is just a brief review because there isn’t much more to the set than the three figures and Power suit, but the purchase is worthy for a couple of reasons.

Kit includes the three figures (Wonder Woman, Superman, Lex Luthor) and I found it interesting that I couldn’t tell which head went on whom for Superman/Lex. They both have pretty much the same stern expression and nothing else distinguishes them except a slight smirk. I figured the smirk was for the villain but in reviewing the packaging for the set, the smirk-head goes on Supes (whatcha gonna do?). The only accessory was the golden lasso for Wonder Woman (‘cause Lex just isn’t a pistol-waving kinda guy unless his back’s against a wall and he’s losing it).

For me, the main attraction of the set was the Power suit and it’s a very good design. Kept to a minimum of cool colors (green and purple) the design easily conveys the concept of drawing power from kryptonite crystal that then feeds into the suit (there are a couple of dome-encased energy orbs and finger claws glow green) and a laser rifle. I really like the sci-fi driven concept and it’s well executed in a streamline design.
While kept to a minimum of pieces, the suit is still very poseable and menacing. Suit features fingers on each hand but in addition the gun includes a technic pin that fits into the wrist of the hand to further stabilize grip on the gun.
Lex isn’t fully enclosed in the armor (gaps around the cockpit shell), meaning if Supes put his mind to it he could really set Lex’s biscuits to burnin’ with a small dose of heat vision but this is a minor quibble.

The set only cost $20 for a good assortment of 207 pieces featuring three figures which is a pretty good deal considering the value of collectible minifigure these days.

!!! 4x2ReVu Stats !!!
Rating: Six out of eight studs
Pros: Three collectible figures and a great power suit/mech construction.
Cons: Very minor complaint that I prefer click/rotation over the ball/socket joins in this set (though the ball/sockets do provide for easy posing).
Walletwise: 207 pieces for around $20 makes a great starter/intro set for the new superhero lineup.
