Hey--good idea and I apologize for potentially re-iterating something here
'cause I didn't read every response in the main thread.
Silas & I were thinking of a web site with this idea in mind. An inventory
of pieces, who has them, and what they want for trade. There are several
problems with this as have no doubt been touched on in the original threads.
With our concept, we may have to have judges decide what is 'rare' and what
is common (ie. attach a points system or something to pieces). That seems
like a LOT of work. Also, descriptions of pieces or element #s--that's a
lot of work too. I guess a straight out list with general descriptions
would be best, and the easiest to manage.
Well, I have a clear macaroni brick that is useless to me to add to the pot
(among some other weird stuff).
Here are some potential (ya right) acronyms for the virtual box:
TAPLAP -Take a piece, leave a piece
TOELOE -Take one element, leave one element
SOBROB -Snatch one brick, replace one brick
TOUPLOUP -take one unusual part, leave one unusual part
TOWPROWP -take one weird piece, replace one weird piece
LEILEO -LEGO element in, LEGO element out (this is the most foreign-sounding
one)
I'm spending too much time on this.
