If you are planning to visit Philadelphia, PA. area.

Starting April 10, 2010 the Philadelphia Zoo invites you to enter an extraordinary world of life-size toy brick animals with the debut of “Creatures of Habitat: A Gazillion-Piece Animal Adventure”, a one-of-a-kind animal experience sure to inspire conservationists of all ages. Bringing endangered animals and their vanishing habitats to life throughout the 42-acre wildlife landscape, visitors will discover a menagerie of birds and beasts each intricately designed one tiny brick at a time.

The journey begins as you launch into fantastical and endangered habitats around the globe. From Borneo to Barzil and the Arctic Circle to Africa, discover the plight of the polar bear, orangutan, golden lion tamarin, gorilla, and many more. Through the use of amazing brick sculptures, set designs created to tell a story, and personal interactions with Zoo staff, Creatures of Habitat highlights the Philadelphia Zoo’s global role in protecting wildlife while simultaneously emphasizing the stewardship role we all most play for the creatures that share the planet. Designed exclusively for the Philadelphia Zoo and scheduled to appear nowhere else, Creatures of Habitat is a truly unique experience that will awaken the ecologist in all of us.

The expansive project, running through October 31, 2010 tells the story of endangered and threatened species through the sculptures of renowned (LCP) LEGO Certified Professional, Sean Kenney.
