  Re: Brickshelf Backup Utility

I'm getting a "10013: permission denied" error, whether trying to grab my whole folder or a subfolder, logged in or not. Anyone know why this would be? (obviously this is working for other people). Kevin ---...--- Craftsman Lego Kits & Custom (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

Re: Please bring BS back - at least in a locked version!!

(...) Amen, brother. And I'm willing to put my $$$ where my mouth is, and I have emailed Kevin as much. I thought that it was great that Kevin finally started taking donations, but he ceased it. It is certainly worth $2.00 a month to me to support (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Please bring BS back - at least in a locked version!!

(...) I would be happy if it were possible to buy the entire BS content database on a set of DVD's or something. Does anyone know how much space the entire BS archive is? How many 4.7GB DVDs would it take up? At the very least it would be nice if (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Brickshelf Backup Crawler for Mac

As noted (URL) here>, there is a BSBackup utility for Windows that helps you batch download the contents of Brickshelf galleries.   Re: Please bring BS back - at least in a locked version!!

(...) First, Kevin, you've cost me thousands of dollars. If it weren't for Brickshelf I'd probably be off doing some boring hobby. Brickshelf was one of the hooks that drew me in and I'm very glad to be here. For this, I thank you. Second, as I sit (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Problems with Brickshelf?

(...) Yes, but wouldn't you probably do that anyway? See the way I use Flickr on my blog, brickpile.com, for an example of how it can work well for LEGO images. Flickr is also used widely at classic-space.com. Another nice thing about Flickr is (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 10181 Eiffle Tower

(...) There is a difference in how the "automatic binding bricks" bind. I first noticed this in the avaitar sets.Considering where the parts are made I have a feeling that flextronics is in full swing as the supplier of the bricks and the ones made (...)   Re: Brickshelf Backup Utility

(...) See (URL) and (URL) - there is not a Mac version yet, but I am reverse engineering something similar and Travis may already have a solution up his sleeve. Stay tuned. Jim (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf + Amazon S3 = Solution?

(...) Hi Jake, Amazon S3 is the exact solution I thought of when I heard about this problem. I glanced at the API documentation, and it doesn't seem like a difficult solution to implement, either. Now that it seems that Brickshelf won't be making a (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

  Re: 10181 Eiffle Tower

Re: Brickshelf back up (at least temporarily)

(...) Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up Jennifer. I had all my stuff backed up, but there are some photos (not mine) on there I would love to save. Just serves as a reminder to us all to keep backups of everything. :-) -Dave (17 years ago, 16-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)
