I don't know if anyone has mentioned LEGO Action Maze books before, but
I found some of them at my grocery store (Ralphs) today. I don't know if
they're widespread across the States yet, or if they're being debuted
locally (San Diego -- big surprise) before going nation-wide.

They are coloring-book sized paperbacks that contain little adventure
stories and activities for children, all done with computer-generated
LEGO models. They're probably not much use to AFOLs unless you're a
collector or are looking for alternate-model ideas.

There are several different books, each based on a different LEGO line.
They include:
Gold Robber, Insectoid Invasion, Treasure Smuggler, Jewel Thief, and Spy
Catcher. I know I've seen a Castle one too, but I don't know the title
of that one. They were being sold for $4.95.

The publisher is Dorling Kindersley, www.dk.com.

Enjoy ...
