At the link below, you can find a .PDF file thats 6 pages long, though only
2 will likely be of use to you. This is a chart of the official LEGO colors,
in the official names, with swatches. This includes discontinued colors
(marked with an X), Transparent colors (T), metallic colors (M) and
flourescent colors (F). Its tri-language (thats why 6 pages, only 2 of
which each person will likely use).
Save the link, since I dont have another reference set up to the file (I
havent used the web site in some time) at the moment -- side effects of my
recent Dim Ages (now in recovery, thanks :-P)

This is very cool, I personally have a color collection of over 120 colors. I
will have to do a comparison of my colors to this chart and see how many I have
that are discontinued. It would also be a good idea to do a translation of the
names to what is used on Peeron and Bricklink.
