Happy Holidays to all!
Here's my pic (shown it before, but what the heck, it's the Holidays!) of what a
circa 1962-63 Lego Christmas would be like if AFOL's existed back then..... :-)
I call it a "German-American Christmas", since it shows a mixture of German
(continental European) and American sets. It reminds me of my first Lego from
my uncle in Germany in 1960, and from my grandfather visiting from Germany in
1962.

Here's wishing Lugnet's new "meister" Rene Hoffmeister and all AFOLs everywhere
a....
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Frohe Weihnachten und ein gesundes rutsch ins Neues Jahr!
Gary Istok
P.S. The sets are: leftmost 2 wooden box sets - #712 (1963-65, German),
rightmost wooden box set - #710 (1963-65, German), leftmost large cardboard box
- #717 Junior Constructor (1961-65, USA/Canada), rightmost large cardboard box -
#725 Town Plan (1961-65, USA/Canada), small tall cardboard box between the large
ones - #702 (1961-65, USA/Canada), 2 medium boxes in foreground - continental
European Lego Retailer Windows/Doors boxes #214 1-10 (1957-60 lower box, 1960-65
upper box), blue booklet in lower foreground - #238 (1960-68), with a few small
continental European spare parts packs, and a #235 continental European garage
pack.
P.P.S. Also wishing my neighbors in Canada "a Happy Holiday's eh" as well!
(Since I live in a city (near Detroit) on the USA/Canada international border!
:-) GO RED WINGS!!!! (That'll stir 'em up!)
