Hmmm... Perhaps some guidence and conduct agreements, or general consenus between fans could be developed. Unlike nowadays, where there is a sad lack of honor between fans. Yet this is like yesterday, now and tomorrow, our greatest hour. We have many good things going for us.

The actions of Lego fans is unbecomming of the values the company itself stands for. I for one am ashamed of other so called fans because of their actions. Likewise, I admit being driven to extremes myself due to exaspirating circumstances.

If I knew I shared a pact with other fans, guided by the very values of the company, I honestly believe some of the childish harping behaviour that is such a turn off that crops up from time to time here on LUGNET could be utterly avoided.

I thought when we entered the door here anyway, we signed something that said, “yes of course I will be cool, and be cool unto others” ???

Everyone embracing eachother, making for a fan base the company would be proud of. A fan base the company might be more receptive to knowing we agree as a collective that we are by extention, though diverse, like minded in our practices.

So may I say to the jlug asses, use your minds, because moving towards understanding is what my goal is, not being a jackass.

I’d post that there, but I won’t, because I know you all come here and will read it. Then go back and be yourselves again.

I have enough compassion to reach out to Kevoh, who frankly has treated me like garbage. What I would like to ask is you (all) realize how depressing people’s antics make it for the hobby and for the others around you that are affected too.

I see part of what happend here a little like this.

Kevoh, IMHO is a realtivly serious builder. I say that because he has a nice website and makes a nice presentation for his creations.

Someone comes along makes a dumb comment. The builder probably didn’t feel like accepting that behaviour and frankly shouldn’t have too.

Then bails.

While a good deal of laughter goes on behind closed doors.

We need honor amoung fans. It already exists, we just need to be more concious of it and maintain it.

Develope.
