EBAY recently had some German seller selling a lot of 50's and 60's Lego parts and spare parts boxes. Here is a nice picture (go to the larger picture below) of Lego spare parts boxes from 1955-59. (URL) 2 boxes in the bottom row are from 1955-56. (...) (20 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Gary, Thanks for the pictures and information. There is an interesting variety to these boxes: (URL) have a few questions: 1) Most of the boxes are colored sleeves that surround a white or black box with mono-colored graphics. But I've seen (...) (20 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) OK Clark, Here we go..... (...) Yes, the white/off white inner boxes are of parts packs from 1955-59. The black inner boxes are 1960-62. The full color with flap and no inner box (tray) are from 1963-65. The monochromatic blue boxes are from (...) (20 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
