blocks or the electronics in the RCX and sensors?

The transparent parts are quite a bit more brittle than the ABS parts, and it's
been noted that they are considerably more brittle in extreme cold.  Therefore,
I'd suggest not leaving any trans parts in your pole barn during the winter,
especially if they are attached to studs (as the temperature shift could cause
them to split open at the base).

Electronics could potentially be damaged by below-freezing weather (if they've
got moisture inside), or high humidity (wetness promotes corrosion, especially
in batteries), but 100F temps should be fine, so if you know for a fact that the
temp never strays much higher than that, it shouldn't be a problem in that
regard.

Standard ABS parts should be safe year-round.
