Err, for the record, I wasn't questioning the authenticity of this particular
item.  I don't know enough about the seller or, frankly, Lego products at all
to do that.  It was much more meant to be a wide angled rumination on rare
items in general, and in retrospect, should have been posted to
lugnet.market.theory.

Anyway, this is really a one-of-a-kind LEGO item that won't appeal to
everyone.

That was much more my point.

   An odd question, an aside if you will--a technical matter for the general
public (and Todd).  Is discussion of non-brick-system (i.e., pre-monoculture)
LEGO toys considered on-topic?  Just a musing on my part, after seeing this
posting.
