There was an article in the Marin IJ yesterday about it. Not a factory, but
R&D for mindstorms, and other robotic/electronic toys. People will be moving
from both Enfield and Billund, and there was something about tapping the
high tech pool of labor in the bay area.
I'll try to type in more of hte article in the next couple days.
Now let's see, I'm a hardware engineer, designing embedded controllers,
I also do some software, I live in Marin COunty, Hmmm....
It is highly unlikely they wouldmove out near Skywalker ranch, as Lucas
has been trying to expandd there for 10 years, and the planning/zoning
machine in marin moves at glacial speeds. However with Lucas moving
ILM and Lucas digital and THX to the Presidio in San Francisco,
that opens up a bunch of beautiful office space less than a mile
from my house. :-)
