I noticed several mentions of this project on different sites recently. The
Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com) site has organized a toy drive for
the Seattle Children's Hospital through Amazon.com It started out as a way to
show the world that gaming geeks aren't the evil sociopaths they're made out to
be so often by the mainstream media. They have already gathered zillions of
toys from anonymous donors. I was just floored looking at the pictures on the
site - some folks are donating big-ticket toys, and Lego makes a good showing as
well.
