Hi Jake,
without saying my personal opionion to the colour-change, I want to mention
this:

At least since LEGOWORLD in Zwolle there is the official percantage of 5% of all
customers being AFOLs. Lets say only the half of them is disappointed about the
change of colours, that would are 2,5% of all customers. Even if no Non-AFOL is
worried about this change, I really cant believe that more than 2,5% of ALL
customers are unhappy with the current colours. Do you really got such feedback
from so many people? If a few customers made you decide to change the colours,
are 2,5% of all customers able to change TLCs mind? If not, what is the REAL
background of the colour change?
I would also like to ask, how many employees of TLC were involved in making this
decision. Could it be possible that only two or three, maybe only one person had
this idea and are powerful enough to intersperse it? Has such a decision K. K.
Kristiansens blessing?
And my last contribution: AFAIK, every gray is defined by nature to never
having a bigger share of one colour than of other colours, no matter what
chromatics(?) you use: RGB, CMYK, HSB, Lab... The new gray looks like there is
too much blue in it.
Regards, René
